School Medical Services

With the assistance of school nurses throughout Kershaw County, we are able to identify children in need. The League provides funds to pay for doctor visits, dental services, prescriptions, and personal items like clothing.  Many children are helped on a case by case basis and it empowers nurses who directly deal with these children to help solve an immediate need. Eyeglass prescriptions in conjunction with H. Rubin.

Belle of the Ball

Each year, the provisional class of League members puts together a free event open to Kershaw County high school girls who cannot otherwise afford to attend prom. League members collect donations of prom gowns, shoes, jewelry and other accessories, providing them to young women who are identified by their high school guidance counselor during a Boutique-day at the League building in Downtown Camden.

If you have any gently used or new ball gowns or formal dresses, shoes, jewelry, or accessories that you would like to donate, please email the league by clicking here.
